Nova honored as a finalist for sixth consecutive year

Nova is honored to be named one of the "Best Companies to Work for in New York" for 2023. This is the sixth year in a row Nova has been a finalist in the program, which recognizes the best places of employment in New York in categories of small, medium and large companies.

"Recognition in this program is a significant acknowledgement that speaks to the positive work environment of our organization and strong sense of community among our associates, especially as a hybrid company," noted Jim Walleshauser, Nova's president.

There were two parts used to determine the rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices and demographics, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75 percent of the total. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.

The final rankings will be revealed in April at an awards ceremony in Albany. A complete list of winners can be seen in the Rochester Business Journal.
